Excellent south-of-Cairo day trips We just returned from two full days of travel with Magdy, and it was incredible. We had a wonderful day at Saqqara, Dashur and Memphis. He is totally fluent in English, and he has a friendly, informative presentation. Today we toured Fayoum, Lake Qarun and Wadi Al-Hiram. Fantastic. Cairo & Luxor Trip Our travel plans to Egypt (Cairo & Luxor) were rather last minute. Got in touch with a few Tour Operators (through my Egyptian colleagues) but found no luck. I guess it was the busy season. We were 2 families travelling - 6 Adults. My friend randomly contacted Magdy. He was prompt in responding and aligning with what we required. We arrived into Cairo - Magdy was with us through the trip, always on time, always courteous and obviously very knowledgeable. Very dependable, trustworthy - very important while travelling in Egypt. He took us to the Dinner Cruise on the Nile and the next day to Saqqara & Giza Pyramids, Oud / Natural Flowers Perfume Factory - day well spent. From Cairo we proceeded to Luxor. He had arranged our Airport Drop - personally was at our Hotel to pick us up at 3.30 in the morning. Local arrangements, Tour guide at Luxor, Airport Pick, Local tours, Air Balloon Ride in Luxor - all well organized. We had some issues with the Airport Drop-off at Luxor but he was always following up assuring us we would reach the airport on time. Can confidently recommend Magdy. Day trip to Pyramids and GEM We booked Magdy as our tour guide for a small family trip to Egypt, traveling with my wife and our 4 year old son, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Magdy, along with his driver, picked us up from Cairo Airport right on time and took us straight to Giza to see the pyramids. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and safe, giving us helpful advice on how to be cautious with locals, which was especially reassuring while traveling with a young child. He is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and explains everything in clear, fluent English. He made the visit to the pyramids both educational and enjoyable. After that, he took us to a lovely local restaurant where we got to taste authentic Egyptian food, which we really enjoyed. We then visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, and finally, he dropped us back at Cairo Airport smoothly and on schedule. What really stood out was how friendly and kind Magdy was with our son. Our child liked him so much that he kept walking hand in hand with him throughout the day, which meant a lot to us as parents. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, well organized and stress-free. If you are planning a trip to Egypt, Magdy is definitely your go-to guide. Highly recommended!
